About Us

My name is Emma Wilson. I own and run Story of Your Day.

My expertise lies in story-telling.  I’ve been a Television Reporter for twenty years and a Video Journalist and Camera Director for the last eight.  Now I’m using that experience to create beautifully craftedwedding films.

I specialise in creating unique wedding films for couples that will relive the stories happening on your big day. My aim is to capture these moments as they happen and watch your day unfold naturally.

My background has taught me to identify and appreciate special moments, reactions and emotions. 

A personable nature and ability to engage easily means I’ll put your guests at ease when I talk to them about your day. Their thoughts and feelings will add flavour to your story.

Helping me to achieve wonderful bespoke films is my assistant is Sophie Kitching, an aspiring film-maker, currently studying at Hull College.

Finally, and by no means least if you choose to use a second camera-person I will only use a crew from a hand-picked selection of industry trained professionals, like myself.

The success of Story Of Your Day wedding films has now lead to us expanding into making films for wedding venues, suppliers and other corporate films.
